TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas was established in 1893. It has an affiliation with the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. TMI stands for Texas Military Institute. This is a selective coed Episcopal college prep school located in San Antonio. It offers both boarding and day sessions. Until the 1980s, this military school had sent the most graduates to Princeton and West Point. The ratio of students to teacher is 7:1.
TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas currently serves 400 students. Most of the students are from South Texas though it accepts students from across the nation and from foreign countries. At the start of each term, every student is required to sign his name in the Honor Code and write the word ‘Pledge’ in all the tests and papers. The honor code reads as follows: ‘Because I believe integrity is essential, I promise not to lie, cheat or steal’. Students that violate the honor code are disciplined accordingly by the Honor Council.
