Reserve Officer’s Training Corps, abbreviated as ROTC is a course based in US colleges. It is designed to help students become their very best and offers them the necessary training and skills in preparation to joining the US army after college. The students, also known as cadets, develop a sense of responsibility, self-confidence, leadership skills and a high level of maturity.
The Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, abbreviated as JROTC, is a program supported by the US Army in all high schools in the US. This federal program aims at motivating young people to be the best citizens they can be. The vision of the program is to provide quality citizenship, leadership and character to students.
Military schools are modeled after United States Military Universities. Integrity and responsibility in military schools today, are key to developing a well disciplined student or “cadets.” These are two factors that are central to building character in students who go to military schools.
