Carson Long Military Academy is the direct descendent of a military academy founded in 1832, making it the oldest boarding school in the U.S. to offer military training. The all-male school for students in grades 6-12 is located on a 50 acre campus in central PA, close to Washington, D.C., New York, and Philadelphia. With a student-teacher ratio of 7-1 and 85% of the faculty living on campus, academic excellence is well within reach for all students. Extracurricular activities, programs in the arts and sciences, and an emphasis on accountability, character development, and ethics round out the Carson Long student’s formation. With students from 13 states and 12 countries, Carson Long encourages its students to form close and lasting friendships with faculty and students alike.
